Our Team

Stefan Bolliger, BLA, MLA Principal L.A. & Owner

Stefan is a Landscape Architect and the founder of Stefan Bolliger Associates Inc., with over 40 years of experience. Stefan has obtained a Maturite Commericale from Ecole Superieure de Commerce (Switzerland), a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture from the University of Toronto, and a Masters of Landscape Architecture from Harvard University.

As a full member of both the OALA and CSLA, Stefan is actively involved and well known in the professional field of Landscape Architecture. He has won numerous awards both individually and through the work at his firm. Stefan’s experience both in private practice and as an adjunct-professor has resulted in a diverse range of skills, proving to be a valuable asset in the field of Landscape Architecture.

Sally Miedema, BLA Landscape Designer

Sally is a Landscape Designer at Stefan Bolliger Associates Inc. and has been a team member since 2014.

She graduated with distinction from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (2014), and upon graduation entered the work force. While studying at Guelph, Sally spent a semester abroad in New Zealand where she furthered her skills and education.

Sally utilizes her creativity throughout the firm’s activities, and has been involved in a variety of projects ranging from site master planning, highway construction inspection, and design illustrations.

Jessica Brommer, BSc, MLA Landscape Designer

Jessica is a Landscape Designer at Stefan Bolliger Associates Inc., and has been a team member since 2015.

Graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography (2011), Jessica then proceeded to obtain her Masters degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph in 2015. Jessica received the ASLA Student Merit Award in 2015, which recognizes excellence in the study of landscape architecture and skills related to the art and technology of landscape architecture.

Jessica has experience working in both private and public sectors, holding a variety of positions including urban forestry assistant (City of Barrie), graduate teaching assistant (University of Guelph), landscape architecture assistant (City of Hamilton), and geomorphic systems technician (Aquafor Beech Ltd). This diverse experience has allowed her to attain the theoretical and practical skills required to work in the field of landscape architecture, and have proven to be of great asset to the firm.
