The landscape design concept for this unique medical and health facility integrated existing trees on site with new plantings known for their historic significance as sources of medicine and their healing properties. The design concept for the adjacent open space made creative use of storm water facilities to enlarge the informal recreational potential of the grounds. Pedestrian connections to other college facilities were enhanced.
